Job description

You will be responsible for the day to day running of our Flag Store Shack in Battersea, managing a team to demonstrate outstanding performance and creating and maintaining Loaf Store Culture.

Some of what the job involes:

  • To have a passion for Loaf, the brand and product, delivering an amazing customer experience within the Shack
  • Leading a customer facing team by example to use their product knowledge and enthusiasm to maximise sales
  • Working closely with the Retail Operations Manager to create and maintain the Loaf Shack Culture and Retail Best Practices
  • Driving team performance through training and active feedback on achievements and areas for improvement
  • Meet all Loaf Retail Best Practices in the Battersea Shack
  • Organising special events and promotions as required
  • Producing reports and Initiating changes to improve KPIs as required
  • Recruitment of shack staff as and when
  • Managing the Staff rotas whilst ensuring that we are adequately staffed and within budget
  • Liaising effectively with the Retail Operations Managers and all other departments within Loaf
  • Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met and retail standards are achieved.

  • Retail management experience
  • The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for your actions
  • Good use of initiative and the ability to execute and embrace new methods of works and projects
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills interacting with customers and team in varying situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to be flexible
  • Confidence and common sense, to access and utilise expert resources when making decisions.
  • The ability to problem solve and make decisions
  • Good influencing skills with a calm and patient approach
  • A team player - work well with other team members and be a fully participating team member
