Hamleys is growing and we're on the look out for a new Supervisor in our demonstration team to join the world's finest toy store today!
Job Purpose:
- Assist management by actively motivating colleagues, driving sales and demonstrating fun new toys with the team!
What you will be required to do as a Supervisor for the demonstration team:
- Engage customers to deliver an exciting and magical customer experience.
- Motivate and engage the team to exceed sales targets
- Enthusiastically demonstrate products to customers to engage with the toys in store.
- Gain excellent in-depth product knowledge and share this with the team.
- Increase sales performance of staff by coaching and providing feedback.
- Delivering energetic briefs to engage and motivate the team.
- Effective prioritisation and delegation of tasks.
- Covering for the manager in their absence.
- Thinking outside the box to find any way to help improve sales/performance/the department.
- Ensuring team members are following Hamleys policies and procedures.
- Effective use of reports and KPI analysis to aid decision making.

Person profile:
- Experience of working in a retail environment with a strong customer focus.
- Able to thoroughly learn about our product range and demonstrate them.
- Leads by example at all times, regularly setting high standards for their team to meet.
- Shows pride in their role and their store by setting and maintaining Hamleys standards.
- Brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to their role, their team and their store.
- Highly organised and can demonstrate great administrative skills, keeping daily/weekly reports and documents up to date.
- Sales focussed and consistently hits targets.
- Presents a professional image and positive attitude.
