We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Shop Manager to lead our busy mobile phone store. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, driving sales, managing a team, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Set clear expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and busy periods.
Sales and Performance:Drive sales growth and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Implement effective sales techniques, upselling strategies, and promotional activities to increase customer engagement and drive sales.
Customer Service:Ensure outstanding customer service is provided at all times, resolving any escalated customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Train and coach team members on effective customer service techniques and product knowledge.
Maintain a customer-centric approach, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the store.
Inventory Management:Oversee inventory control processes, including stock ordering, receiving, and replenishment.
Monitor product availability, ensure accurate pricing, and conduct regular stock audits.
Collaborate with suppliers and the management team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock shortages or excess.
Store Operations:Maintain the store's visual merchandising standards and ensure proper product displays.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including security measures and cash handling protocols.
Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards, addressing any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably within the mobile phone industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of mobile phone technology and current market trends.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building positive customer relationships.
- Proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
