Retail Supervisor Role

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team! The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for leading the shop floor team to deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience from start to finish, with the high attention to detail and quality that our customers have come to expect from us. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for providing outstanding customer service, and the drive and inspiration to lead a successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise shop floor team to ensure an excellent experience is provided to all our customers from start to finish every time they visit

· Monitor shelf stock levels and ensure products and displays are maintained to the highest quality and visual standards

· Regularly feedback to buyers to improve product ranges and availability from suppliers

· Assist in delivery of promotional events and reorganising merchandising layouts and displays

· Set daily team priorities to improve performance and achieve weekly retail KPI targets

· Prepare rotas for shop floor team and manage staffing levels to meet the needs of the business

· Work collaboratively with other departments where required to cover absences and improve training and development

· Ensure efficient team performance and help develop more efficient ways of working

· Train and develop new hires and existing team in customer service, product knowledge, and shop floor procedures

· Monitor staff performance and provide feedback as needed including annual personal development reviews with team

· Be responsible for the setup and end of day procedures including unlocking and locking up the shop and stocking and removal of cash drawers

· Handle discounts and refunds at the tills and in-store and telephone customer inquiries

· Ensure compliance with food hygiene and H&S requirements

Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience as a retail supervisor or similar role, preferably in food

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to lead and motivate a team

· Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and quality

· Good communication skills

Working Hours: 4-5 days per week, approx. 36-45hrs per week depending on working days, weekend working required, the shop is open 7 days per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £11.25 per hour
