This full-time, permanent role is for a highly successful and well regarded international FMCG (fresh produce / perishable specialists) company based in mid-Kent to support the fast-paced, varied workload of the sales support process.
The successful Stock and Logistics Supervisor will be a highly organised, proactive individual with experience within an FMCG (fresh produce / perishable) role.
You will be someone who can spot potential issues or discrepancies and suggest solutions and process amendments to ensure they don't happen again. You will be confident in all things fresh produce and will thrive in a fast-paced, reactive industry.
Duties for this Stock and Logistics Supervisor will include, but not be limited to:
- Booking transport
- Relationship building and maintaining
- Customs documentation
- Claims processing
- Rejections / returns
- Order taking
- Stock control / evaluation / rotation
- QC liaison
- Invoicing
- Incoming and outgoing stock control
- Proactive problem solving
