STATION GRADE B AREA RELIEF (GENERAL PURPOSE RELIEF)

Provide relief for staff at locations in the Aberdeen area. Duties include sale of tickets and other rail service products, providing customers with information and assistance, train dispatch, ensuring that trains leave the station safely and punctually. Maintenance / cleaning of station environments including platforms, waiting areas and toilets, ensuring that the station conforms to the Service Quality Incentive Regime requirements.
A highly motivated and flexible individual with excellent communication skills. Customer friendly focused. An effective team player who can demonstrate individual initiative. Should be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm. Ideally you will have customer service experience.
Hours of work: 35-hour week. Various Shifts. Sunday working involved. You will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company, up to a maximum of 13 Sunday turns per calendar year.
Reference Salary: £34,171 per annum. Training salary £20,993 per annum.

Selection process: Assessment and Interview will form the initial stages of the selection process. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical, drug & alcohol screening. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period.
Training: Training initially involves a 2-day Induction training programme
