Role Profile
The Onboarding Operations team are a centralised resource supporting LCH Ltd for the initial onboarding process and ongoing maintenance of members, clients and investment counterparties. The team sits within Shared Operations and is based in London. Onboarding Operations is organised across three teams, Onboarding, Static Data and Network Management.
The role holder will support the Static Data function. The area is responsible for the processing, operation and transmission of Calypso static data and plays a critical role in resolving Calypso end-of-day and cover distribution issues. The main stakeholders are RepoClear, EquityClear, SwapClear, ForexClear and SwapAgent.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of all static data within three LCH core systems - Calypso, Salesforce and RiskPortal
- Swift Template Creation and Maintenance
- Maintaining robust end-to-end processes and procedures for the set up and maintenance of static data in Calypso, Salesforce and RiskPortal.
- Respond to static data requests and enquiries on a timely basis and within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
- Help to resolve operational issues in an accurate and timely manner; bringing to the attention of management where appropriate.
- Perform call-backs to authorised third parties to validate bank account change requests or new instructions with counterparties, liaising with Collateral Operations and other key stakeholders.
- Continually develop a strong understanding of the importance of data integrity and carry out all requests with a quality and control mind-set.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders internally (Sales, Compliance, Risk etc.) and externally (Members, Counterparties, etc.) with clear communication of requirements, timelines, operational issues and delays, etc.
- System reconciliations and data error detection and resolution.
- Out of hours / flexible working availability required.
Candidate Profile
Operational experience within FS is preferred
Calypso skills and experience would be advantageous
General office and banking systems experience
Strong MS Office skills are essential, in particular excel.
Highly methodical, analytical thinker with problem solving skills
Works collaboratively and builds effective relationships with other teams.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Positive, collaborative and forward thinking.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
