Your Key Responsibilities:

Achieving Results:

  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanour even during high-volume moments, setting a positive example for the shift team.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs by observing the environment and interacting with our valued guests.
  • Share important information with the manager, enabling the team to create the perfect Magic Bean experience for every customer.
  • Prioritise legendary customer service, going above and beyond to make each customer feel valued and connected.
  • Execute store operations efficiently, ensuring all opening and closing duties are organised and completed.
  • Follow our operational policies and procedures diligently, including cash handling and safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of our partners.
  • Oversee cash management and register policies, making certain the shift team follows proper cash-handling practices.
  • Continuously support and guide our baristas to deliver legendary customer service throughout the shift.
  • Consistently provide high-quality beverages, whole beans, and food products, following our recipe and presentation standards.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the well-being of our customers and partners.
  • Recognise and celebrate individual and team accomplishments, utilising our existing recognition tools and collaborating with the store manager to find innovative ways to appreciate our team.
  • Utilise operational tools to ensure excellence in all aspects of store operations during your shift.

Helping Others Succeed:

  • Assist in training new partners, offering positive reinforcement for their progress and providing respectful and encouraging coaching when needed.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the store manager regarding partner performance during the shift.
  • Foster a positive team environment by recognising any concerns or changes in partner morale or performance and promptly communicating them to the store manager.
  • Create a supportive learning atmosphere by delivering clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to partners, promoting operational excellence, and enhancing partner performance.
  • Develop strong relationships with the shift team, understanding and addressing their individual motivations, needs, and concerns.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, demonstrating your commitment to our team and customers.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Uphold our store operating policies and standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality beverages, food products, and excellent customer service.
  • Possess experience in a customer-facing role that involved constant interaction and fulfilling customer requests.
  • Comply with and model our dress code, showcasing the Magic Bean Starbucks brand with pride.
  • Demonstrate experience in delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the efforts of two or more employees.
