Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Apprentice Business Management role within our Bioprocess Marketing team. Please note this is a hybrid role primarily working from home with flexibility to work office based at the Livingston site.

During this fixed term 4-year apprenticeship the successful candidates will:

• Support Liquid Media & Delivery team with daily functions plus continuous improvement initiatives
• Graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from Napier University obtained through part time study
• Gain an understanding of current manufacturing processes at the Merck Livingston Manufacturing facility
• Support continuous improvement initiatives & participate in planning & execution of small projects undertaken at the Merck Livingston Manufacturing facility
• Participate in the planning and execution of small projects within the Liquid & Delivery strategic roadmap
• Generate and analyse data for existing product portfolios, build dashboards & predictive data reporting systems where required to support the business
• Using generated data to identify solutions & propose these to make improvements
• Support Product Managers to analyse current and future market needs and trends
• Participate in new product launches, new technologies and capabilities including all necessary steps from business case preparation to pricing, positioning and monitoring of business success
• Provide technical support in areas of the degree's discipline
• Work remotely with cross-functional teams in all regions (EMEA, US, APAC)

Qualification:

Candidates will have:

• 4 Highers in any subject, ideally including English of which two must be at a B and two at a C as a minimum or equivalent experience.
• Work experience is not essential for this position, evidence of any part-time or voluntary work is advantageous

Please note you will be expected to attend University for 1 day per week.
