About the Role
Entertainment is, and always has been a huge part of the Butlins business. We are passionate about producing and delivering great quality entertainment and we’re looking for talented Stage Managers to join our Entertainments Team.
The Technical Support team are an integral part of the Entertainment team at Butlin’s, providing support to in house and external shows alike. Genres of entertainment at Butlin’s can be diverse covering genres such as Live Music, Comedy, Children’s Shows, and West End Style Shows which makes for an exciting and fresh place to work.
Stage Managers are key to the efficient running of the day and evening entertainment, ensuring all shows are consistently delivered to the highest standards. You will also work closely with artists, performers and the wider Technical Team to ensure our entertainment continues to delight our guests and create memories that last a lifetime.
You will supervise the whole Technical Team, ensuring that stage plans and schedules are in place to facilitate the smooth running of our full entertainments programme. You will also work closely with the Director to run technical and dress rehearsals of our shows.
Due to the nature of this role, you will also attend regular leadership meetings with the wider Entertainment Team, ensuring you fully understand performance requirements.
About You
We’re looking for experienced Stage Manager with a working knowledge of technical procedures and systems.
You will be leading the Technical Team so you should have great leadership experience with the ability to drive and motivate your team to deliver exceptional standards.
You should have excellent communication a can-do attitude and a passion for making a difference to your team and to our guests,
