Salary: Band H of the NCLT Support Staff Spine, £27,579 - £30,314 (£24,514 - £26,945 pro rata) depending on experience. A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.
Contract Type: Full time, 37 hours per week (40 weeks per year may be considered)

The Exams Officer will work as part of the Trust Exams Team, taking the lead in exam related matters for the New College Pontefract site, in order to provide high-quality administration, organisation and smooth running of examinations across all Trust sites. A willingness to work flexibly within the team is essential as are strong organisational, communication and people skills.
You will receive a high level of strategic support from the Trust Exams Manager. There will be the opportunity to regularly meet with other Exams Officers within the Trust to discuss and agree common approaches to examination functions.
The successful candidate should have experience of working to strict deadlines, handling sensitive data, adhering to statutory regulations and using Microsoft Office 365 applications. You will have experience in examination procedures and processes, be able to prioritise your own workload and have a willingness to undertake further training relevant to the post and good problem-solving skills.
