Full Time London, England 63000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

We are HeliosX. A group of health tech companies on an ambitious mission to change the way healthcare is delivered. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare to help them live healthier, longer, and happier lives. HeliosX's vertically integrated clinical and pharmacy platform powers a personalised, end-to-end healthcare experience.

Established in 2013, our health tech brands, including Dermatica, RocketRx, MedExpress, and ZipHealth, have delivered over 2.2MM digital healthcare visits in 9 countries across the US and EU. To learn more about our brand and offerings, visit heliosx.com.

About the role:

As our first UX Researcher, you will be the founder of the UXR discipline here at HeliosX, refining our UXR processes and helping professionalise our ongoing UXR work.

You will understand the technology, experiences, and features of the HeliosX products, and develop a deep empathic understanding of our users in various contexts; learn about their needs, and identify gaps. We want this person to deliver impactful research that informs decisions across our product lifecycle, and translates into actionable insights for implementation by our Engineering and Product teams.

Who you are:

  • Be an expert User Research practitioner who can define and assure best practice in primary research, analysis, and synthesis - you will be the subject matter expert for UXR across the business.
  • Influence product strategy and priorities by assisting with both the execution of research and the delivery of key analytical insights.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines including, but not limited to, Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, Growth, and Brand.
  • Span research needs across both digital and physical products, across multiple geographies and languages.
  • Research: You will help product teams adopt a wide range of user research methods, both quantitative and qualitative. You can lead a cross-functional community of practice to help us continually assure, improve and innovate our user research tools, processes, and techniques.
  • Analysis, synthesis, and communication: You will help product teams adopt a wide range of analysis and synthesis techniques, and to continually assure, improve and innovate their practices to generate clear and valuable findings. You can moderate/lead workshops, and help teams understand and communicate their findings.
  • Prioritisation: There is always more work to be done than time available - you will need to be a self-starter, comfortable prioritising competing requests from across the business for your time.
  • You will have a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have experience in product research.
  • You have experience working with other Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers across a number of teams.
  • You have knowledge of a broad set of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • You have knowledge of user-centred design methods.
  • You deeply understand behavioural analysis concepts.
