Job description

Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?

You share a passion for crafting software that has a significant impact on the world and the future of cloud computing. You love solving problems and learning new things and are looking for a company that helps enable those ideas. Technologies come and go, but that excites you because of the endless possibilities it creates. You are looking for an opportunity to work for a company whose software is utilized by every Fortune 500 company and significantly impacts every industry. You want to be a part of a collaborative environment whose teams care about the product they are creating, how they create it, and the impact it has on customers’ business objectives.

Here at VMware, we’re on a mission to help our half a million enterprise customers develop and implement a hybrid cloud strategy that protects their existing investments and leverages the public cloud. As part of this transition, VMware internally is re-inventing itself and transitioning to SaaS.

With VMC on AWS we have delivered, SDDC to the cloud, now we want to deliver innovative cloud service to on-premises infrastructure that leverages our on-premises footprint.

In the heart of that effort is Project Arctic. It enables customers to run their virtual machines and containers on their hardware, with cloud experience. Arctic simplifies hybrid cloud by making customers' vSphere infrastructure hybrid cloud-ready, making it easy for customers to move workloads between their vSphere infrastructure and VMC on AWS or other VCPP partners.

We need someone to join our team and help us design, develop, deliver, and maintain Project Arctic.

As you join VMware, you will help grow a company that makes meaningful and significant technology solutions and is committed to being a "force for good" in technology.
