The Role
The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for managing a diverse project team to affect the establishment of new share plans in Fidelity and the transition of client accounts and holdings onto the Fidelity platform.
With your strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills, you will positively impact a company’s ability to support their employees through share plans. This meaningful and exciting work in a team environment open to change involves engagement with a wide range of clients, leading their complex and dynamic transitions into the Fidelity system. You will be the primary point of contact for the client during the onboarding process and will be responsible for managing a dedicated project team (Operations Consultant, Communications Consultant, Data Conversion Manager) to complete the successful transition of the client to Fidelity Investments. You will use a consultative approach to align the client needs with Fidelity’s offering and use an array of Project Management tools to advance the onboarding process and prepare the client and Fidelity for an effective transition.
Providing the client, and Fidelity’s senior team and other internal business partners with clear concise statuses of the overall project on a regular basis.
Serving as an in-house resource on best practices in project management, peer teaching and sharing in a collaborative fashion to improve team performance.
Influencing others to work with an attitude of continuous improvement and openness to change
Ensuring a seamless, positive, and educational experience for clients as the foundation of their relationship with Fidelity
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Minimum 2 years of experience with share plans
Certificate in Employer Share Plans or Certified Equity Professional designation preferred
Experience with coordinating, managing, and organising large projects with multiple workstreams
Strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to work well with various company groups.
Ability to identify required resources and coordinate project timelines for multiple projects ensuring alignment of project team members skills with assigned tasks.
Ability to collaborate and influence outcomes in a large matrix-managed environment, and across multiple and diverse groups.
Ability to provide direction to the project team to ensure development and completion of all critical project/program documents according to defined processes and / or escalate challenges when the situations arise.
Ability to identify potential project risks and effectively address and communicate to the project team and stakeholders as appropriate.
