Job description
As the Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of People and Culture on safety regulations, including Fire Risk Assessments, Health and Safety Audits and Ethical Audits. There will be some general admin duties in HR and Safety, supporting the equipment trainer with issuing certificates and ensuring our Training Manager has this information for our Company Matrix. Please keep in mind this is an administrative role, not solely H&S role.
- Completing Fire Risk Assessments on all sites, and working with all Managers on their actions to keep their departments compliant.
- Putting a system together for our Vulcan H&S service, ensuring all managers are aware when equipment needs servicing and monitoring the online support system.
- Supporting the Head of People with all H&S audits, working with the managers on any actions that come from that and monitoring to ensure compliance.
- Working on Ethical Audits, taking guidance from Head of People to make sure we are following the guidelines on employment/working conditions being safe.
- Adding all accidents/near misses onto the accident spreadsheet ensuring you keep the Head of People updated on all accidents/near misses, reviewing risk assessments and working with managers and Head of People on minimising risks on accidents.
- Supporting Head of People on electrical tests, i.e working with our approved electricians and arranging for them to come onto site to conduct PIR and PAT tests.
- Any general admin duties for the department.

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
