Position: Shift Machine Trainee/Machine Adjusters
Location: Milton Keynes Production
Salary: £10.50/hr. for a trainee and rising based on previous experience.
We are currently looking for machine adjusters working either:-
Double Days 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts or
Permanent nights 10pm to 6am shift at our Milton Keynes site.
The site is embarking on an exciting process of modernisation and improvement to deliver profitable growth. We are looking for mechanically minded individuals who can demonstrate a can do attitude, and who want to learn new skills.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:-
· Adherence to safety rules …Actively promoting a Safety first mentality.
· A flexible individual who can demonstrate strong mechanical and machine adjustment
skills.
· Actively drives to exceed customers quality expectations and promotes a right first time
ethos.
· Experienced in setting envelope manufacturing equipment would be ideal but not
essential.
· Full training will be given if required.
· Performs preventative maintenance activities to ensure productivity goals are exceeded.
· Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices would be ideal but not essential.
· Continually looks for continuous improvement opportunities and delivers improvements
every day.
· Willing to embrace change.
· Experience in a similar role would be ideal.
· Excellent verbal, and written English essential.
