Job description
Etra Feeders is the a leading supplier and manufacture in farming equiment in northern ireland and are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Shed Erector/Fitter to join our dedicated team. As a Shed Erector/Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing sheds and equipment. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality work that meet their specifications and expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret shed assembly drawings.
- Assemble and construct equimpent on site
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and hammers.
- Lift and manoeuvre components, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
- Install roofing materials, doors, windows, and other features as per design.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline the shed erection process.
- Inspect completed sheds to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as in a similar construction role is preferred.
- Strong joinery and construction skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry components.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Health and safety-conscious, following safety protocols at all times.
Working Hours:
The position is 10-hour workday from Monday to Thursday. The specific working hours will be 7:00 AM to 17:30 PM.
