Rate
Pay: £15 per hour. Uniform, equipment, clientele, facility, appointment software etc supplied by KB Sports Therapy.
Days of work
Mondays 10am – 6pm (1hr unpaid lunch break)
Thursdays 10am – 6pm (1hr unpaid lunch break)
Fridays 10am – 6pm (1hr unpaid lunch break)
Alternate Saturdays 9am – 1pm
This role will have the option of expansion of hours and responsibility.
Job Description:
KB Sports Therapy is looking for a skilled sports therapist to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have previous clinical experience (however this is not essential but is desired), alongside a willingness and desire to learn and grow as a therapist.
The role is of a self-employed basis and therefor the candidate must have excellent time management skills to efficiently maintain a working diary/calendar, as well as communicate effectively with patients and other members of the team. The candidate will be responsible of managing and monitoring their own diaries, online bookings, and updating clinical notes for clients seen.
The role will include injury assessment, treatment and prevention. Combining hands on therapy (deep tissue massage, sports massage, remedial massage) and exercise therapy, and electrotherapy. Strappings and tapings when required by clients. The role will include facilitating individualised and progressive rehabilitation plans and recovery for clients with musculoskeletal conditions. Within this role the ideal candidate will be confident and able to provide advise about stretching/mobility exercises as well as warm up exercises; perform postural assessments and mobility screening.
After a successful probation period the candidate will be required to take part in social media content and marketing content.
Qualification’s requirements/Education
A degree in Sports Therapy/physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation. Applications accepted for students due to graduate in June/July 2023.
Compliant with DBS regulations and requirements.
Ability to work flexibly both as part of a team and independently
