Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sponsorship Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and securing corporate sponsorships to support the growth and development of our club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to achieve organizational goals
- Identify potential sponsors and engage in proactive outreach efforts to secure new partnerships
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts that maximize benefits for both the sponsor and our organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors, ensuring their needs and objectives are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective sponsors
- Manage the activation of sponsorships, including the development of marketing materials and the coordination of sponsor events and experiences
- Track and analyze the results of sponsored initiatives to measure the impact of sponsorship investments
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to ensure the organization remains competitive in the marketplace
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or a related role
- Proven track record of securing corporate sponsorships and generating revenue through sponsorships
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the sponsorship landscape, including current trends and best practices
