A Data Compensation Analyst thrives in an end-to-end role, from number-crunching to reward program support: someone who can analyze, create, communicate, constructively challenge & problem-solve.
Ideal for someone looking for n opportunity to have a big impact on the business.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and maintain excel models to manually calculate bonus accruals and payments for our variable pay employees globally, ensuring full audit trail is in place.
- Continually review the integrity of source data and follow up on corrective actions with colleagues in human resources, payroll and across the finance functions
- Issue month-end accrual values to Finance across multiple legal entities.
- Answer ad hoc queries from the global organisation on bonus related issues.
- Ability to gain in depth knowledge of complex plan components and calculations
- Maintain plan records including key milestone activity and participation data and the issue and review/maintenance of plan documentation.
- Comprehend various Bonus plan structures and own calculations for payments
- Support the preparation of reports & audits
- Provide strategic advice and guidance including year-end remuneration processes
To be successful in this role you will enjoy working in a business-facing advisory role.
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills are crucial, alongside excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. You will have demonstrable problem-solving skills, along with a solution focused and commercial approach whilst maintaining high standards of client service. In addition, you will also have the confidence to think differently and be open to learning in a fast paced and changing environment.
To be considered for the role you must have:
- Advanced level Excel skills with the ability to build complex formulae & create user-friendly data templates
Additional Information
It would also be benefitial to have:
- Professional Qualification (CIMA or ACCA) with industry expertise coming from a similar role within a software sales environment.
- Exposure to total rewards methodologies i.e. across compensation & benefits
- Previously working in a global or regional role with knowledge of working in a multicultural environment
- Good understanding of Business Operations and Sales Compensation Plans
- Knowledge of database systems would be highly advantageous
