NHS Forth Valley welcomes applications for a Specialty Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics to join our department. This post will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The appointment will be subject to the terms and conditions of service for Specialty Doctors 2022. Candidates should have Membership of a UK College of Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeons and at least 2 years’ experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is prepared to contribute to the development of Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal trauma services in NHS Forth Valley. The post will include involvement in planned orthopaedic surgery as well as the on-call trauma service. This will require a contribution out with the normal working day as well as weekends.

Our hospital is situated in the heart of Scotland, nestled against the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and close to vibrant towns that are richly endowed with excellent cultural and sporting facilities, offering good transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
