Imagine now needs Specialist Support Workers who will provide support to individuals with a variety of different needs and conditions. This may include learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, complex behaviour, mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, neurological impairments, psychiatric and clinical needs. This is a great time to join, as we continue to expand our services across the north-west of England and beyond. The role of support worker includes an expectation to support individuals with all their daily living requirements including support with personal care. Job Description:
Our main aim is:
To provide two young men with person centred support so they are able to feel connected to their community, feel safe in a homely environment and receive the care and support they need in all aspects of their life whilst promoting independence.
The two young men enjoy going out in the community and participating in activities such as going for walks, sensory rooms, soft play areas, going to the seaside , funfair rides and arcades, bowling, music, playing games , watching Disney films, eating out and going on holiday.
Our support staff work with people to enhance their skills within the home environment by supporting with cooking, daily living tasks, budgeting and financial support, personal care, accessing education and healthcare.
No experience is needed as full training will be provided which a combination is of face to face, online and shadowing an existing staff member. We will support you to complete Care Certificate and also provide opportunities to gain qualifications In Health and Social Care.
