- Move receiving (from OE logistics) parts to upper level for processing – using the lift and/or crane as necessary
- Manage & sort deliveries from OE logistics – breakdown & sort identified priorities (lead time critical – daily Phil's KPI)
- Support Inspection team in packing activity
- Consolidate & pack Mitry-Mory shipments
- Process Mitry-Mory shipments through SAP – including the production of the load sheet and shipment report for French Customs (in Excel)
- Log Mitry shuttle transit in DHL ClearIt system- liaise with DHL Hayes for T1's
- Manage Saywell processing picking/shipping – liaise with Customer to arrange collection
- Picking & shipping ALL direct Customer orders – various lines now shipped directly from Gloucester (Paint, tape & labels – not shipped from Mitry)
- Arrange Customer collections via selected agents/couriers
- Move processed shipments to lower bay for collection as necessary
- Cover receiving bay & handover of shipments to Customer agents/couriers and manage white board
- Cover vehicle loading with fork lift as necessary
- Cover any rigging & slinging activity with overhead crane & lifting forks
- Shipping queries
- Manage incoming RMA receipts & support processing
- Flexible working to support other logistics functions – including RMS & FPS
- Support AOG operations
Complementary description
Dayshift – 37hrs per week 07.30 – 16.00 M –TH, 07.30 – 12.30 FR
Job requirements
- Proficient in the use of SAP – minimum knowledge of order picking & shipping
- Proficient in the use of office systems – Outlook, word & Excel
- Literacy & numeric aptitude is essential i.e. able to recognise part numbers, read packing specifications and calculate quantities
- A team player who can develop a strong rapport with individuals
- Must be a good communicator, flexible and adaptive in approach
- Should be resilient and tenacious in style and approach – process accuracy is crucial
- Target achievement and results orientated – must be Customer focused
- Adapts and works effectively with a variety of priorities, situations, individuals or groups
- Adaptable to work in other areas of the logistics function
- Able to work without supervision
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety i.e. Manual Handling
- Fork lift experience would be beneficial
