A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated SPA Receptionist to join the Health Club & SPA team at The Berkeley.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a SPA Receptionist you will be the first and last contact the clients have with the Health Club and Spa and it is essential to provide excellent service and be present to welcome the clients in a friendly and efficient manner and to ensure the security of the Health Club. Also you need to ensure the smooth running of the therapist schedules, promote and be an ambassador of the Spa.


Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • To assist members and guests when they enter the Health Club and Spa by handing out the Spa shoes, robes, explaining about the facilities and lockers and dealing with appointments and enquiries.
  • To manage the diary and ensure bookings are scheduled in a way to maximise occupancy and that agency bookings are well managed.
  • To be responsible for the checking and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the changing rooms, saunas, steam rooms, waiting area and all areas around reception including the Brass (some general cleaning duties are also required).
  • To offer assistance to any guests or callers re local information, Health Club and Spa rates, rules, treatments etc.
  • Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
