Mar Hall Spa are now recruiting for a Spa Receptionist.
The hotel is set within a tranquil 240 acre woodland estate with 53 individually designed bedrooms, estate lodges, a championship golf course, spa and swimming pool plus both fine dining and casual dining. Famous as a luxury wedding venue and for exclusive conference and banqueting facilities. Overlooking the River Clyde, this grand private residence enjoys a rural Scottish setting with views towards the Kilpatrick Hills.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time Spa Receptionist to join us at Mar Hall Hotel & Spa Resort. Role ideally suited to someone looking to work 3 or 4 days per week.
In addition to offering a salary up to £11 per hour, , 28 days annual leave pro rata, pension contributions, free onsite parking, free training & development opportunities, rand friends & family discounts on hotel accommodation and food & beverage.
The role:
- Providing an orientation for all guests visiting the spa
- Working as part of a team of receptionists to deliver outstanding guest service
- Assisting in driving the financial performance of the spa including retail, sales, treatment scheduling and upselling
- Be responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and closing down spa
- Deal with queries and effectively offer advice on products and treatments available, including spa package deals
- Preparing reception area for the next opening day
- Ensure reception, locker area, spa area are kept clean and up to standard
- Answering telephone enquiries and booking appointments for guests
- Assist in the daily running and administration of the spa
- Adhere to all health and safety policies
- Assist with cleaning and general housekeeping duties within the spa
The ideal candidate will:

- This role is part time, 3 or 4 days per week from 9am to 6:30pm. Will include weekend working.
