Job description

We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our team at one of most Prestigious Venues in London as Sous Pastry Chef!!!

As a Sous Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Pastry Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Chef in menu planning and recipe development
  • Prepare and bake a range of desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, and pies
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to deliver high-quality pastry dishes
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to deliver a high-quality dining experience

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or Sous Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • Proven ability to create a range of high-quality desserts and pastries
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
