We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV ADR Fuel Tanker Driver based at our Watford, Herts depot.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

• Loading of vehicles at the depot or terminal whilst following all H&S guidelines and operational procedures
• The safe delivery of fuel to a range of domestic, commercial and agricultural customers
• Ensuring all vehicle daily walkaround safety checks are completed to the highest standard
• Ensuring all paperwork relating to the loading and unloading is filled in correctly
• Ability to work to all written procedures and guidelines including WTD and EU Drivers Hours Regulations

Key Skills need for this role are:

• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of our delivery area (London, Herts, Bucks, Berks)
• Friendly and polite manner
• Availability to work alternate Saturday mornings during the winter months is essential. This is paid at the overtime rate of £23.80 p/h

Requirements:

• Class 2 / Cat C HGV Licence
• ADR in Class 3 (Flammable liquids) and Tanks
• Petroleum Driver Passport (preferable but not essential)
• Valid DCPC Card
• Valid Digital Tacho Card
• Multi drop experience
• Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience

This position is paid at £17.00 p/h for 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday. In addition to this a London Allowance of £1500 per year is paid giving a basic annual salary of £36,860. There is plenty of scope for overtime, including Saturday mornings, particularly in the busier winter months which is paid at £23.80 p/h.

• Commercial HGV Driving: 2 years (required)

• Petroleum Driver Passport (preferred)
• Digital Tachograph Card (preferred)
