Who are we looking for?
An experienced Sous or CDP looking to progress their career, who is creative, organised, enthusiastic & passionate about what they do.
A hard working, committed individual with attention to detail, who thrives in a busy business, with a real passion for fresh, homemade food.
A people person, with good communication skills, who is comfortable working with the team to help create new menus, who can work as part of a team & work alone. A good sense of humour, and a positive attitude towards growing the business is essential.
Responsibilities of the role
·Help create menus and specials in conjunction with the Group Chef
·Ensure food is always served to a consistent standard
·Deliver food with acceptable wait times
·Ensure food hygiene including full HACCP paperwork is maintained and up to date
Keep kitchen clean and tidy at all times
Skills
Experience of running a kitchen inc, food hygiene, good time keeping, a food hygiene certificate, The ability to work during busy service, working quickly whilst maintaining high quality standards of food and good time keeping is essential.
Hours of work
Due to the nature of the business the successful Sous Chef candidate must be flexible in terms of hours which will include weekend work.
