  Project Overview: Technology Data Governance and Analytics

  Contractor’s Role: The Data Governance & Analytics Program Manager is responsible for developing and driving the strategy, multi-year roadmap and the overall Program for the technology data governance and analytics team. The Data Governance & Analytics Program Manager will develop and refine processes for effective data governance, analysis and reporting to provide valuable business insights. They are competent in both leading and delivering large scale, multi-year, cloud-based data and analytics initiatives. This role requires a high-level understanding of Enterprise Data Analytics, Technology, Privacy, Risk, Information Security and is responsible for driving adoption across technology teams. The Program Manager will report to the Chief Data Officer, and partner with their data governance and analytics team, and instrumental in providing expert strategy and execution with teams across the technology organization. Experience, both in the data domain (through a thorough understanding of business and regulatory requirements) and the software engineering domain. Other responsibilities include client management relationship across Enterprise Data Governance, CIO, CTO and Enterprise Architecture teams, leadership and management of the program typically delivering results through others, partnering with the CDO to set the technical and business direction for the group, effective allocation and use of resources throughout BAU and releases, and fostering the team environment.

  Nice to Haves: Familiarity with databases, Collibra, structured and unstructured data, APIs, Power BI, Incorta, Cloud

  Tasks & responsibilities
• Co-create and Manage the data governance and analytics roadmap
• Collaborates to develop and drive the company-wide adoption of Data Quality and Data Governance programs, policies, and procedures
• Supports the documentation and escalation of risks, issues, actions, & decisions
• Manages and guides internal and third party vendor relationships related to the data governance and analytics program
• Ensures and reports on the data governance and analytics teams’ alignment with roadmap milestones and deadlines
• Provides resource utilization analysis to forecast and inform staffing needs
• Identifies KPIs or success metrics to measure Data Governance and Data Management adoption and adherence across the organization
• Helps promote a Data Governance culture, including continuous Learning & Development, throughout the organization and provide regular reporting on Data Governance metrics and activities
• Helps evolve data access, availability, retention, security, privacy and compliance policies and associated enforcement mechanisms
• Supports the creation and facilitation of vendor SOWs, RFPs, and project change requests for the governance and analytics programs
