Overview:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a Software Development Level 4 Apprenticeship.
Salary:
£16,000 - £18,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Building back-end systems to support various internal departments.
- Bug fixing existing applications.
- Work closely with the designers to build an attractive and user-friendly website.
- Collaborating with other developers on the best way to build systems.
- Collaborating with other departments to help improve their systems.
- Working with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript on a daily basis
Desirable skills:
- Experience with PHP, SQL and Javascript

Entry requirements:
- The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
- OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Additional Information:
Office is fairly remote and can be hard to access via public transport if living outside Studley/Redditch
Remote working is offered but will not be a full-time remote role
Future prospects:
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, there may be opportunity to develop further within the role and company.
90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
