- engineer solutions for counterparty credit risk within the existing framework
- create cohesive technology solutions and address technical debt
- take a hands-on approach to investigating and solving problems
- focus on product quality (utilizing review, testing and fast feedback)
- analyze business needs working with business users to inform solution delivery
- provide technical leadership

Your team
As part of UBS Global Treasury Technology group, you will be working in a hybrid pod distributed between the UK, India and US which comprises skilled and motivated individuals. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several applications that perform several business-critical activities. The team works in an agile manner, and all are expected to communicate with the business and methodology clients. This is a hands-on technical role, where proven software design and development skills using core java logical approach to problem solving,
Your expertise
core development skills in Java, Python, or .Net, SQL, software design, enterprise integration patterns
- analysis skills (requirement refinement, data modelling, abstraction), excellent communication skills
- Testing (Unit, System, Integration, UAT, Performance, Stability)
- Test Driven Development / Business Driven Development
- iterative SDLC (Scrum ideal)
- experience of large-scale enterprise software
- results focused with desire to work closely with business partners, as part of a global team
- knowledge of risk
- enjoy logical problem solving tasks
- are passionate about what you do, you value excellence, learning and integrity
