We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer for automotive visualization products to join our dynamic and fast-paced customer delivery organization. In this role, you be owning the organization’s efforts to deploy NVIDIA’s automotive software for in-cabin visualization in various target vehicles. The role will require you to travel regularly to Gaydon, UK.
What you'll be doing
Analysis of customer requirements and specifications for visualization software applications such as surround view system, parking visualization, virtual and augmented reality;
Design, development and delivery of visualization software applications;
Integration of NVIDIA and customer software components;
Customization and optimization of NVIDIA software on target platforms;
Close collaboration with multi-functional teams (Function/Product owners, HW, V&V, vehicle testing) to bring-up and ensure robust implementation of functions in the vehicle;
Triaging and fixing of bugs, systematic problem solving;
Support of proof-of-concepts, benchmarking, data collection and/or customer demos and on-site product bring-ups.
What we need to see
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience);
5+ years of relevant experience;
Strong C/C++ SW development experience of graphics software applications on Linux- or QNX-based automotive embedded platforms;
Solid understanding of graphics pipeline and experience with 3D graphics APIs (OpenGL, OpenGL-ES, Vulkan);
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
Experience with delivering graphics software application in the automotive domain for series production at a Tier1 or OEM.
Knowledge of automotive processes and experience in establishing and maintaining of system-level and software requirements.
Experience in software development according to ASPICE and ISO26262 standards.
Flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
