Software Team Lead - Stoke on Trent - up to £80k

A well-known international entertainment group. The organisation has seen strong international growth and looking for multiple software delivery managers to provide technical leadership.

Role

We are recruiting for experienced Software Team Leads with a strong track record leading large technical teams comprising developers, data and QA teams. The role would suit a candidate with a background in software development whom has moved, or would like to move into management. You would be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 10-15 and is a "hands off" role.

You will be responsible for promoting best practice, looking at opportunities for improvements and technology opportunities. You'll be the type of character who can tell Senior Developers where they're going wrong and to guide them down the right development path, as well as being able to coach developers from graduate to senior in experience.

There is a major investment in technology as the company expands internationally and now is an exciting time to join as they build out their services and solutions. The organisation work with technologies including C#, Typescript, Golang and Google Cloud.

Key skills and experience

• 
  Proven leadership of engineering/development/database teams
• Technical understanding of application development with a software delivery background
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
