About the role

Location: The Pig on the Beach, Studland Manor Road, Swanage

Hours: Full Time, £26,000 PA Plus Service Charge

Salary: £26,000 PA, Plus Service Charge.

In the busy months our restaurant team have earnt up to £500 in service charge per month, whilst service charge varies depending on bookings with the staycation concept thriving, you can do the maths.

Our Pay Promise - No one in our business will earn less than the National Living Wage, regardless of age.

Hours: Full-Time

The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG. We offer our guests a daily changing menu which is dedicated to the ingredients grown within our own kitchen garden and fresh produce provided by our local suppliers. We guarantee each service to be different, fun, and full of atmosphere!

THE PIG on the beach is a ‘restaurant with rooms’ serving an average of 160 main restaurant and 60 outdoor covers per day. Our menus change daily - highlighting the flavours of the garden, using only the freshest ingredients. For a more casual offering, our outdoor wood-oven opens in Spring serving delicious flatbreads and wood-fired treats.

This role will provide a consistent presence on our main Restaurant floor, focusing on the day-to-day running of the service, plus offering support for our outdoor wood-oven service as & when required. You will need to set the tone for a relaxed yet professional style of service that’s guaranteed to ensure our guests can sit back and enjoy their time with us.

About you:

Previous experience within a similar role, or environment is essential. You will need to have excellent organisation skills and the ability to produce consistent results. A genuine interest in providing a memorable dining experience is a must along with creating an enjoyable work environment for all.
