C++ Software Engineer / Engineer (C++ Python) London / WFH to £75k
Do you have C++ and algorithm development skills? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a technology company that is producing game changing products using AI and parallel processing for data, video, imaging and point cloud compression.
As a C++ Software Engineer you will develop compression algorithms and codebases (mainly written in C++) for new products and contribute to design tools and strategies for efficiently processing and compressing images, videos and data as well as designing and running tests for developed algorithms, analysing data and preparing reports.
You'll be working with C++ and specialist tools such as AVC, HEVC, VP9, AV1 in a collaborative environment with continual learning opportunities, as a senior member of the team you'll be advocate of best practice and help to mentor others.
WFH Policy:
You'll be joining an accomplished and collaborative team based in Central London, with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
Requirements:
You have strong C++ coding skills (and ideally some Python experience)
You're able to design and develop complex algorithms - ideally with experience in researching and developing data compression and signal processing algorithms
You're collaborative with good written and verbal communication skills, keen to learn and share knowledge
You have achieved a 2.1 or above at BSc in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Mathematics, likely to have gone onto study at MSc / PhD level
