Software Engineer in Test - SaaS - JavaScript (Hybrid London)

£85 - 95k + share scheme

What is the job?

This role will give you the opportunity to take a lead on QA automation while shaping the wider team and making an instant impact and ensuring high quality in their product. As such, experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch is essential (with JavaScript, Cypress, Jest or similar).

The role will encompass QA and testing on a range of software delivery streams (including a new API services product) while solving complex problems. As a senior member of the QA team, you'll build and manage the end to end testing approach while supporting developers and mentoring other testers in the team to helping to drive forward major projects.

With a strong background in test automation engineering, you will also be skilled in writing automated functional and integration tests in JavaScript across UI and API applications.

As for interviews, they will all be done remotely. The first stage will be a screening to discuss your previous and current projects. It will also opportunity for you to hear more about the role from an Engineering leader.

The second and final stage will be a technical interview where they'll dive a little deeper into your technical skillset, overall experience, and motivations/ambitions.

This person will need to demonstrate project leadership quallties, automation and manual testing, white box and black box testing and ability to drive test planning and strategy
