How you’ll change it up

As a Senior Development Tester, you’ll help us to build a QA practise which drives the quality of inhouse developed applications, along with commercial package configurations. You’ll use your technical knowledge and experience to produce clear, consistent, function test suites and scripts, ensuring that quality is validated for every change to code. Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:

• Writing test scripts / feature files using BDD formats
• Defect creation and management through the Kanban lifecycle
• Supporting in squad meetings for refinements, retrospectives and demos
• Supporting the Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand requirements
• Working alongside other QA’s to support with technical leadership and guidance

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll have some hands-on experience with automation testing, alongside extensive user knowledge of Linux / Unix. We’re also looking for you to have the following:

• Experience testing APIs
• MySQL or PostgreSQL (including querying and creating test data)
• Extensive testing experience for Multi-Tier application architecture, regression, GUI, system, black box, performance and end-to-end testing
• Proficiency in PHP and Python
