Software Development Team Lead

As the Software Development Team Lead, you will oversee a group of skilled developers and work collaboratively with international engineers and industry experts. Your leadership will play a vital role in shaping the future of our business and technology solutions, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the industry.
What you'll do
- Inspire and guide your team members through effective leadership, training, and mentoring, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and excellence.
- Champion agile practices within the team, promoting efficient and adaptive development methodologies that enhance productivity and deliver exceptional results.
- Set and implement coding standards, emphasizing the importance of clean and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and business analysts to define the scope of development projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Showcase your technical expertise by developing and supporting software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
- Play a key role in supporting our Quality Assurance team during the testing and deployment phases of new products and features, ensuring a seamless and top-quality user experience.
- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements by continuously learning and working with different technologies and tools while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Experience with Linux
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Database Design
- Strong knowledge of .NET or Java
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with source control tools like (Git, SVN)
Good to have
- Experience with front-end development in React or Angular
- Experience with API development in REST or GraphQL
- Familiarity with Oracle or MariaD
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of software security best practices
- Financial industry experience
