The Role

We are seeking an ambitious professional with software architecture experience, who possesses exceptional team leadership and development skills, and has a solid understanding of data-driven solutions. You should be able to specify and adopt new frameworks and environments with ease, and have a product-oriented mindset, ensuring the versioning, integration, robustness, (re)usability, and maintainability of our software.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing software that aligns with Dizplai’s established architecture and setting up future architectures based on industry standard practices, recommendations, and standards. You will work with all of our products and deliver both standalone and complimentary products, contributing to the company's growth and meeting ambitious objectives. Technical Qualifications

Possess a BSc degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.

Highly proficient in internet-related technologies, with proven development experience using common Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js and React.

Skilled in application service backends including NodeJS and PHP, as well as common architectures such as Service Oriented Architectures, SaaS models, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Experience in backend services development using Java.

Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively.

Knowledge of Mobile App Development, including an understanding of Objective-C/Swift, Java/Kotlin.

Proficient in creating and managing databases and data stores in a Linux environment.

Proficient in developing, deploying, and integrating apps in a Linux environment, with knowledge of automation and scripting, deployment, and monitoring.

Experience working with cloud-based environments, especially Amazon AWS.

Understanding of broadcast and streaming technologies.

Additional qualifications

Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers, partners, and team members, and strong technical proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to demonstrate leadership within the team, particularly in relation to engineering topics such as architecture, development methodologies, and deployment.

Eligibility to work in either the United Kingdom or Norway.
