Certus Technology develops software systems at the forefront of life sciences and healthcare. We specialise in research data management and analytics, patient case management, scenario modelling and quality assessment. We utilise advanced database technologies, semantic modelling, AI and informatics.

We seek to recruit and train software engineers on graduation or with post graduate qualification. We have roles for those with experience and for those setting out on a career path in software. Positions are available in either Certus’ Exeter or Sheffield office.

The right candidates will possess a technical degree in a software, maths, science or engineering discipline. Experience in our development technologies, that include Java, Python, Groovy, LINUX, Mobile and HTML+CSS will be advantageous, as will a knowledge of data analytics, AI or bioinformatics.

Working on a variety of projects, the successful candidates will join our development team. Operating within our Scrum method you will contribute to the delivery of high quality software within a Continuous Delivery framework. On joining the team, you will need to quickly become productive and contribute across the development stages from requirements engineering, user-story development and interpretation, through use-case and UI design, to documentation, systems configuration and administration.
