Due to current demand and ongoing expansion, we are excited to be looking for an additional full-time experienced Software Developer to join the small and dynamic IT team in this fast-growing manufacturing business.
At A J Wells we use a diverse range of technology to provide innovative solutions. You will be focussed on the development of new and replacement software, integrations and services, delivering valuable new features to enable business processes as well as maintaining and supporting existing business software, and helping us to embed industry standards, technology and processes.
If programming to create advanced solutions excites you this varied and challenging role is a great opportunity to develop new and existing skills. You will have a degree in a technical or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field or relevant experience in an appropriate role.
Essential Skills:
- Microsoft .NET and C#.
- Development / consumption of web services & APIs.
- Experience of systems integration (on-prem & Cloud).
- SQL
- Version control (Git).
- A process driven approach to unit testing.
- Solid documentation and communication skills.
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
- Dynamics 365.
- Experience of ERP systems.
- Other programming languages, particularly JavaScript and Visual Basic.
