About The Role
Security & Safety Site Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Corporate Security & Safety Site Manager to work on our prestigious site.
The post holder will manage the day-to-day running of the security contract to service levels agreed with the client ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective security service.
Duties of Security & Safety Site Manager
- Maintain client satisfaction
- Regularly review the performance and development of Officers along with the welfare needs of the team on a monthly basis
- Ensure the adherence of all Health and Safety policies and monitor working practices to always create a safe working environment
- Provide line management including all aspects of disciplinary, grievance and welfare
- Ensure that regular client contact is maintained by weekly client meetings, site visits progress reports to discuss issues and agree solutions promptly
- Liaise with the accounts department on billing and payroll related matters to facilitate timely resolution of any issues
- Ensure the quality delivery of on-site training, refresher training and maintain an up-to-date training matrix
- Regularly review manning levels and interface regularly with the scheduling team to ensure full site coverage with fully trained officers
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the Timegate rostering system, ensuring duties are fully rostered, changes updated, and holiday applications are managed and processed
- Liaise regularly with Talent Acquisition on all recruitment issues and ensure up to date information about vacancies is readily available
- Build contact with support departments at Head Office to ensure smooth running of administration processes
- Regularly review client portfolio and any issues arising with the Key Account Director
- Ensure monthly reports are submitted in a timely manner
- In addition to these functions employees are required to undertake such duties as may be reasonably required.
- Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are in place and risk assessments are reviewed regularly
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the client’s own team and ensure that customer focus is paramount
- Provide timely reports and reviews of contracts as appropriate and ensure all levels of the business are appraised at regular intervals
- Ensure the operations teams are fully trained and development plans are in place
- Evaluate client satisfaction through surveys and feedback received and react accordingly
- Proven management experience
- Previous operational experience within the security industry
- Frontline SIA Licence either DS /CP or SG
- Must be acutely aware of the client’s needs and totally customer focused
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and administration skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A good understanding of IT systems
- Ability to respond and react within short timescales.
