We are looking for Skilled or semi-skilled butchers for our Boning Hall teams who are responsible for cutting, deboning and preparing carcasses before they are further processed.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure the carcasses are dressed, trimmed and packaged according to as directed by the Production Management.
- Cutting, de-boning and preparing carcasses for further processing
Boning and trimming the meat in line with customer/company specifications.
- Maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible.
- Undertake such duties as required in a safe and hygienic manner.
- To ensure that work is completed to production deadlines and according to food safety regulations in force and relevant at the time.
- Responsible for maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible.
- Follow the sites Health, Safety and Training Procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Good Practical butchery and knife skills.
- Brazilian cut skills
- A high standard of personal cleanliness.
- Full knowledge and experience within the industry, with Cattle.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good time keeping and attendance.
- Be self-motivated.
- Have attention to detail.
- Take pride in their work.

- Minimum 1 year experience
