We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within a Family Safeguarding team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role has a supportive team culture with regular supervision and a supportive management team. This is a great opportunity to join a team with a good Ofsted rated performance within West Sussex County Council. Main duties include: Able to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral format, including the ability to explain complicated information to a wide range of people and use negotiation and persuasion skills to encourage others to adopt a course of action they may not wish to take. Able to work in partnership with carers, colleagues and external agencies to deliver an effective service Producing Court Reports Attending LAC Reviews, Case conferences and Child Protection meetings Working with Public Law Outline (PLO) Section 47s Core Assessments To be successful: For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a SWE Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: BA Hons, BSc, DIPSW, CCETSW. The client requests that the worker will have significant Court Experience and can work with a full varied caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Child Protection Team.
