This means the client is at the heart of what we do. This psychosocial approach is supportive of the development of individuals disciplines and competencies and discipline-specific supervision is available within the team and trust.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the principles of recovery in their practice, working within a multi-disciplinary team to support and develop peoples strengths and positive qualities, ensuring care plans are respectful and meaningful to each client and reflect the individual experience of recovery. We take a team around the client approach, so work collectively to provide clients with a tailored multidisciplinary package of support that champions the role of psychosocial interventions to reduce distress and promote social/occupational functioning and wellbeing. As such, candidates will be passionate about the role of therapies in recovery and will value the benefits of teamwork. As a senior practitioner within the team, the successful applicant will also value the ability to support at a team level and champion indirect working (including consultation, supervision, and service promotion).
The team provides input to people across South Staffordshire, working out of bases in Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield and Burton, as well as peoples homes, GP surgeries, other public settings, and occasionally inpatient settings. Therefore, the successful applicant must be able to travel across the geographical area.
