Social Sector s Manager (National) Our s division is going from strength to strength as we continue to increase our market share and meet the ever-growing demands. We are now looking for a Social Sector s Manager to join our successful and developing s team. Reporting into the Head of s you will be responsible for developing the long-term social sector sales strategy for the s division targeting social sector related organisations (e.g. Housing Associations, Local Authorities, MOD and Student Accommodation) in order to promote and sell Howdens kitchens, appliances and accessories. As you will be a key contact for your area, the Howdens reputation sits with you, therefore you must have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and an exceptional talent for building and securing business relationships within the social sector. What will I be doing as a Social Sector s Manager? Developing and managing a team of Regional Sales Managers to achieve and surpass sales targets through developing new and existing s within the social spend sector Managing operational requirements and service level agreements related to this sector Implementing robust processes and procedures to mitigate operational and financial risk Overseeing and responding to detailed tender requests to position Howdens Joinery as a potential supplier Developing collaborative business relationships with key ors within the sector Working closely with Head of s to achieve commercial goals What do I need to qualify for this role? Comprehensive understanding of social housing framework regulations Proven track record of working with complex product offerings Ability to balance customer needs with product life cycle conversations Experience of consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets Commercially astute and able to manage multi-dimensional aspects of ual agreements, including legal T&C’s, SLA’s, pricing agreements and rebates Passionate about customer care and building business through trust and recommendations Proven and demonstrable remote management and leadership skills Hold a full clean driving license How to apply Before you apply, please speak to your manager, so that they are aware of your interest in this role.
