Expected Starting Date: 23rd September 2023
Assessment Centre: 6th & 7th September 2023
WHAT WE OFFER
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers and have a range of contract sizes available. Store operating hours are 8am-930pm Monday to Friday & 8am-830pm at the weekend.
SALES
12 hours – weekend only
16 hours – variety of shifts including days, evenings & 3 out 4 weekends.
20 hours - variety of shifts, including days, evenings & 3 out 4 weekends.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we will need to be flexible with your shifts which will be discussed at interview.

SALES
- Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
- Ensure your areas of responsibility are maintained to high standard by keeping it clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked.
- You ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience
- You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
- In some departments there will be an element of heavy lifting and using IT equipment such as computers & scanners.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
- You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
- Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
- You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
- Provide an efficient and accurate checkout/returns experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.
