The Role
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for bringing our client’s social media channels to life through cutting-edge social strategies.
The successful candidate will be a well rounded social media manager. You should be comfortable ideating, proposing and implementing organic social strategy, copywriting and then scheduling posts for global fashion brands as well as being adept at boosting posts across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc via Business Manager platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience identifying, engaging with and securing influencer partnerships, as well as directing influencer content expectations through briefing documents and reporting on campaign performance.
Finally, as an agency, we’re nothing without data. The Social Media Manager should also be comfortable diving into the numbers and content analytics to report social performance based on the most relevant KPI’s.
The Social Media Manager will be at the heart of our client’s social strategy, but you won’t be alone. Reporting to the Social Media Director, you will be part of an internal team made up of social advertising strategists, social content strategists and a social media design team. You will work directly with the internal team as well as client-stakeholders to determine goals, establish KPI benchmarks and then formulate the roadmap for how we’ll achieve those goals across each social channel.
Key Role Competencies: Social Media Manager
- Manage the organic content calendars for our clients, aligning their business goals and seasonality with the brand content to produce an engaging monthly calendar.
- Lead creative direction for all social media client accounts and source additional content where needed by leveraging our internal design team and influencer relationships.
- Manage the paid/boosting elements of our organic strategies by boosting content on relevant social channels in order to maximise impact and deliver client goals.
- Research and report on campaign & creative performance, set KPI benchmarks, identify trends and pivot strategies to maximise performance.
- Maintain brand standards across all content and copy to ensure compliance across all social platforms.
- Recommend and secure influencer partnerships in-line with content requirements of the clients. Maximise the influencer impact by directing content delivery expectations through briefing documents and product seeding recommendations.
- Be the day-to-day contact for social clients, lead weekly client check-in meetings and further develop the client relationships. Keep in regular contact and work in-collaboration with the client and their key stakeholders in order to continue a successful partnership.
- Manage boosting and influencer budgets for multiple clients.
- Stay on top of all social performance and compile weekly number updated and monthly performance and content reports.
- Carry out social listening to understand brand sentiment and stay on top of engagement by regularly engaging with followers through comments and DM’s.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications. Suggest and implement new features and opportunities to develop our client brands through social media.
- Keep an eye on competitors and evaluate their strategies in order to fully understand our clients position in relation to the market.
- Collaborate with the social media director and operations to improve processes that will help retain existing clients, attract new business, and/or increase efficiencies within the social media department.
- Serve as a liaison between Account Managers regarding deadlines, project status, project scope, content and asset needs, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and visually appealing social media content that resonates with the client's target audience.
Position Skills Requirements:
- 5+ years of Social Media Management experience, ideally in an agency, brand, fashion or ecommerce setting.
- Competent in building and running paid social media campaigns via Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest etc
- Understanding of Google Analytics
- Proficient in using social media scheduling tools such as Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon etc
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and how social can fit into cross channel marketing strategies
- Good experience with social media copywriting, understanding client tone-of-voice and nuances between organic and paid social media.
- Ability to conceptualize and project manage the creation of paid and organic content. (text, image, video, ads, etc;)
- Experience or familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc;) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional time management, organizational and communication skills are essential. This is a remote position, working with clients and teams on different time zones, so being organised is hugely important.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
