Social Media Manager - London
Firmdale Hotels and Kit Kemp Design Studio is seeking a creative, passionate and highly motivated Social Media Manager to join our PR & Marketing team, based in London. Reporting to the Director of PR & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing a creative organic social media and content strategy across our global brand channel, individual hotels, restaurants and interior design studio through engaging storytelling, performance reporting, community management and targeted influencer partnerships.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident self-starter to work under the direction of the PR & Marketing Director to align social media activations with the company's marketing strategy for all properties in London and New York, global brand awareness campaigns, collaborations, new hotel openings and overall direction.
This is a Fixed Term Contract period for 10-12 months
Key Responsibilities...
- Implement the social media strategy for Firmdale Hotels that will increase our reach, engagement rates and positive brand sentiment through evocative, valuable, relevant and captivating content across central social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest which align with the global PR & Marketing brand strategy.
- Day-to-day community management across all 12 brand channels to ensure enquiries, comments and messages are responded to in a timely manner using our brand tone of voice to maintain positive online brand sentiment.
- Utilise Instagram Shopping and Pinterest Shopping to drive e-commerce opportunities for our online home store, Shop Kit Kemp.
- Deliver engaging and effective social campaigns across all 12 brand channels including impactful copywriting, content creation, scheduling and publishing using third party social media platforms such as Sprout Social and Later.com.
- Responsible for creating briefs for photography and videography optimised for social media across all hotels, bars and restaurants as well as being on-site art directing.
- Support the wider PR & Marketing global strategy and overall business objectives by strategically creating a day-to-day calendar of activity that focuses on driving F&B awareness, occupancy, event ticket sales, product launches, hotel openings etc.
- Lead on weekly and quarterly reporting for global and individual channel growth, audience engagement, referral traffic, and e-commerce efficiency whilst continuously monitoring all channel performance.
- Keep up to date with competitor performance, activity and emerging social media trends to ensure that we strategically create content which allows us to stay top of mind and maintain relevancy for existing and prospective audiences.
- Work closely with the PR team to build and maintain collaborative content creator partnerships.
Requirements...
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a social media management role with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of content creation, ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Proven experience of running multiple social media accounts.
- Demonstrate the ability to think creatively with excellent communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of the social media landscape especially Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest, executing the best practices for each.
- Experience working with photographers and videographers to deliver detailed, creative briefs for content production.
- Proven experience of working on multiple brand social media channels and content creation calendars using third party scheduling tools.
- Experience working and managing an influencer marketing strategy.
- A natural storyteller with sufficient experience creating eye-catching branded Instagram Stories.
- Exceptional creative copywriting skills with the ability to easily adapt a brand tone of voice across all hotel channels and global channel.
- A keen eye for detail within travel, bars and restaurants and interior design with the ability to produce socially optimised content creation for different social media platforms.
- Highly organised with a hands-on attitude and has the ability to work across multiple projects, brand channels adapting brand tone of voice, key messaging and company objectives simultaneously.
- A comprehensive understanding and experience in Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Canva and Facebook Business Manager.
- The ability to measure, monitor and report on social performance using third party platforms including, Sprout Social, Later.com and Facebook Business Manager.
