Job Title: Retail, Customer Service & Social Media Supervisor
Job Role: Full Time (Wednesday – Saturday primarily, but may require cover for annual leave/ busier periods on Mondays & Tuesdays on occasion)
We are looking for an organised confident leader with plenty of personality, who is a confident creative individual with plenty of personality who can make the job their own.
The role will be leading our Team to work within a busy, varied retail shop environment – customer communications in the shop and via phone, email & social media to retail and trade customers, processing orders, payments & accounts, decorations & general shop duties, including manual lifting and stock movement within storerooms, reporting back to management.
The candidate will be required to take the lead in creating relevant content for several social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, which can also be used for other marketing, and on company websites. They will be expected to teach and work with other employee's on these tasks. The role will include website updates and other online selling platforms such as Ebay, Etsy and Amazon.
The successful candidate will learn to create & help supervise in creating balloon decorations on and offsite for a variety of occasions, from weddings, christenings and birthdays to car dealerships and events. This role will include creating displays at the shop both inside and out and supervising promoting sales whilst networking at the set-up locations. The successful candidate will be able to generate new business leads in person, via email and telephone, and maintain good working relationships with local venues and companies.
Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills and be competent in managing time for themselves and any assistants. The successful candidate must be able to work without supervision with speed, accuracy and consistency. Attention to detail is essential. The role requires both working independently and also as part of a team daily.
The successful candidate must have a driving license and their own vehicle.
Experience
- Retail shop or Customer Relations background
- Social Media, professional or private
- IT knowledge is essential - Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Email Packages required
- Balloon decorations or similar Artistic background preferred
- Accounts (Preferred but not Essential, training will be given)
- Some Design package experience is preferred, whether Adobe or online packages for example Canva.
- A proactive attitude within Multi-tasking roles
